Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through the Atelier de Wevershoek online shop.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Atelier de Wevershoek is a small online shop with a carefully selected collection, including many products made from natural materials. I handle every order with care and am happy to help if you have any questions.

2. Orders & Payment

All prices shown on the website include VAT for orders within the European Union.

For orders outside the EU, prices are shown excluding VAT. The destination country may charge import duties, local VAT or other import fees. These costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Orders are shipped once payment has been received in full.

I reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of suspected misuse, fraud or incorrect information.

If a product unexpectedly turns out to be unavailable, I will contact you as soon as possible to find a suitable solution together.

3. Shipping & Delivery

I personally process and ship all orders.

Your order will be shipped within 5 business days at the latest after placing your order. Often I am able to ship sooner, but during busy periods I may need the full processing time.

All orders are shipped via PostNL. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a track & trace code.

Shipping costs are:

• Netherlands – €4.95
• Belgium & Germany – €8.95
• Other countries – €9.95

Free shipping is available from certain order amounts. The current thresholds are clearly shown on the website.

Delivery times after shipment depend on the destination and the carrier. Delays may occur due to busy periods, holidays or other circumstances.

4. Product Information & Images

I do my best to describe and display products as clearly and accurately as possible on the website.

Product photos are intended to give as realistic an impression of the product as possible. Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting conditions or production batches.

Small differences may also occur between product photos and the actual product, especially with natural materials. This does not automatically mean that there is a product defect.

5. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

After registering your return, you have another 14 days to send the product back.

Returned items must be unworn and unwashed and have their original labels attached. You may of course inspect and try on an item in the same way you would in a physical shop.

Once your return has been received and processed, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product was defective or incorrectly delivered.

6. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply where a statutory exception applies, for example:

• personalised or custom-made products;
• sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, where the seal has been broken;
• other products for which a statutory exception to the right of withdrawal applies.

If an item has been used or handled beyond what is necessary to assess its nature, characteristics and functioning, a reduction in the refund may be applied where permitted by law.

7. Warranty & Complaints

Is there something wrong with your order or does a product not meet what you can reasonably expect from it? Please contact me at info@dewevershoek.nl.

Please include your order number and, where relevant, photos of the issue. This allows me to properly assess the situation and find a suitable solution together with you.

8. Natural Materials

Many products in my collection are made from natural materials such as wool, alpaca, cotton, silk and linen.

Because these are natural fibres, small differences may occur in colour, texture, softness or knitting. This is part of the character of natural materials and makes each product unique.

Materials such as wool and cashmere may develop some light pilling over time. This is a normal characteristic of natural fibres and does not automatically mean that there is a product defect.

9. Washing & Care Instructions

To enjoy your purchase for as long as possible, I recommend following the washing and care instructions on the product label.

Damage caused by incorrect washing, drying or treatment is not covered by warranty where the damage results from failure to follow the care instructions.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits the rights or statutory protection to which you are entitled as a consumer.

To the extent permitted by law, Atelier de Wevershoek is not liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of the website or a product.

11. Disputed Payments

Do you have a question or problem regarding an order or payment? Please contact me first at info@dewevershoek.nl, so I can look into the situation and try to find a suitable solution together with you.

If a payment is disputed, I reserve the right to provide relevant information about the order, payment and delivery to the relevant payment provider as part of the dispute process.

12. Privacy

I respect your privacy. Personal data is used where necessary for processing orders, customer service and communication relating to your order.

13. Changes to These Terms & Conditions

I reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary.

The most recent version is always available on the website.

14. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions and agreements entered into through Atelier de Wevershoek are governed by Dutch law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply to you.

Any disputes will, to the extent permitted by law, be submitted to the competent court.
